This is what happens when your camera is hanging out of the back of the boat and you miss the ON button at the start of the day. At least I got the boat ride back! If you want to hear a Skeeter SX170 with a Mercury 115HP ProXS rund down the river, this video is for you. NOTE: NO FISH CATCHES OR FISHING HERE!

Hadn't fished north for a couple of years, so that's where I gambled that I could catch a big bag on Day 2 of the Samaki BREAM Queensland Open. Jumped up into 5th and caught fish on crankbaits and crabs.

There's a Cranka Crab restock going on as well as some Rapala tool holders for the boat. We find some old collector lures in the shipping container and Steve Booth pays the office a visit with some of the Bone SaltFinesse LITE aji-style rods.

Unlucky on the last fish :( Any ideas on the why of the multiple line breakage?
that TD black looks nice.
Awesome segment as usual. If you don’t have a spoiling machine, I use a cordless drill, I made a video a million years ago if you want to see it.
They could have given you a stack of Infeet 2000s and 2500s reels to go on your collection of Infeet rods?! Would have thought a TD black reel would go on a TD Black rod 🤷♂️ am I missing something ?
The TD. Black is the new release and they feel great. Black matches everything.
Those TD reels look the goods. Great tackle Friday.
They feel good. Will be on all the rods for the NNSW BREAM events
Always keen to see whats new out there in the tackle industry particularly Rapala.🤠🎣👍👌
Cant wait for this one, literally! Thanks Steve and ABT and Diawa and everyone else that makes this happen. i love Tackle Fridays!🔥🎣🎣
Glad you like it.
@@SteveMorganFishingMonthly diawa is my fave gear to spend money on
The less glamorous side of tourneys eh...
Not every day is perfect.
How’d you go anyway?
Shi*house. - only two legals from about 20 fish for the day.
@@SteveMorganFishingMonthlymate been there go up real far past the bridge at this time of year and sink musses down deep you’ll catch Biggins. Haven’t done it yet this year coz I snapped my regular taper infeet 😅
Wtf did I just watch 😳 you normally show some fish 🐟
You didn't read the description. 😂
First
My local river, thanks for the knowledge
Magic conditions! Those fish have the colour of Bass!!
Golden bass.
This is my local. I’m glad to have a wealth of knowledge on it from you.
I love when bream blokes think they’re funny. Like the Fong
Lucky I'm a barra guy.
Impressive fishing arsenal. I reckon you got all bases covered. Good luck and looking forward to the footage.😀🎣🤙✅️
Yew west aus bream 💯🔥💪🦘 Augusta is my fave spot in the southwest
Good luck, looks like an amazing place.
Hi mate, really nice video. I was just gonna ask if this was the main part of me tongue or further out
Main part.
@@SteveMorganFishingMonthly far out never new metung was such a good fishery cheers for the reply
Hey Steve, just wanna say thank you for all the content and streams you pump out for us, it's very appreciated! Good luck this weekend!
I wish I could afford to 'just lose a few crabs!' Gotta love sponsors!
I buy all my crabs. It hurts when I lose them.
Gday Steve, Always enjoy your content & knowledge mate. Thanks for that. If you could buy one bream rod to cover all options what would it be ?
You can’t go wrong with a light, fast actioned 7’ rod. You don’t need to spend lots of money. But if you want to spend a bit, I’d get the Daiwa Infeet EX 7’5”. I probably use that one the most.
Cheers mate
What do you mean by detuning your Zipbaits?
Im suspecting its about slightly bending the front tow point, this offsets the tow point and makes the lure swim sideways (which is not goo normally when you buy a new one). If you tune it left it will swim out left and if you setup properly in your boat you can fish "under" the pontoon instead of alongside.
This is correct.
Best thing about Friday, besides knowing tomorrow is Saturday and you’re going fishing.
You got that right!
Lol, totally agree!!
Tackle fridays is bomb! 🔥💯
Love the tackle Fridays
Thanks to Ty Campbell for the Super Thanks in the Live Stream!
Hi Steve has anyone ever tried to fish the,,,, CRANKA CRAB'S ,,,,,on Surf Beach's is this idea even possible I'd like to hear your thoughts and comments,,,,, I don't know if anyone ever tried this idea ,,,,,😊😊😊😊
I haven’t - one way to find out!
Yes I think it is extremely possible crabs are on Surf beaches,,,I think I've started something now one -way to find out 🤔,,,,,,,OOP'S 😬 ,,,,,,,

Cool as. Can I ask why you keep your live sonar tranny on the electric motor and not on an independent pole? No doubt you have used both and I just drilled a heap of holes in my deck fitting up a pole!
Very much enjoy watching you fish Steve. Thanks for the livestream. It is very interesting listening to you “thinking your tactics out loud”. Please make more.
Thanks!
no net.......ooops! some nice fish though,
How'd you forget the net??? Or are you not allowed one?
Skill.
What flurocarbon are you using? And do you use a flurocarbon leader on this? Cheers!
I use the Daiwa XLink and Yamatoyo chinu Harris leader.
Straight through is the Daiwa Finesse FC.
We need to introduce tackle everyday. I love the tackle talk segment
🤔
Another great video Steve. What reels are you using, apart from the revelry? Cheers
Just a mix of Daiwa’s - from Excelers up.
great video champion, I've been using the crush city creeper on a Decoy nail bomb weedless hook, great hook up rate, size 2 sits right at the back of the grub,
Good idea.
when the aus open highlights come out
As soon as I get three days in a row uninterrupted to edit them!
@@SteveMorganFishingMonthly love the tackle Fridays
When I first started fishing the river at night, I always imagined that this is what my 2D readings actually looked like in real time 😂
Thats mad. Im installing livescope this weekend and brisbane city lightpools will be one of the first thing ill try with it. I saw a guy get 2 jew under captain cook bridge casting shallow divers along the shadow of the bridge. I got a 86cm thready with a live mullet under a float drifting through the light.
Very cool footage and walk through Steve, always appreciate the uploads and tips. Looks like fun fishing that’s for sure, cheers! 👍🎣
Thanks 👍
Good stuff mate!
Have you ever done your aqua fishing on BFS gear steve? Roll/skip casting on ultra light baitcasters is extremely fun.
Not yet!
Bring the Fonga on as a guest 😂
great video champion
Love the td 19 lucky duck what rods details were they I'm hunting some also
I don’t have them now - one was 7’ and one was 7’2”
Another great Tackle Friday, thanks Steve!
Thanks!
This is the first one I have watched. I will now watch the rest. Great work Steve.
Thanks Gary
Love your content and appreciate you sharing your tournaments live! In regards to spooling up, are you aware of the Busted Fishing line spooler? Expensive, but for someone like you, it's definitely worthwhile. When you insert the new line into the spooler, you can apply a consistent amount of pressure to the spool so you're not squeezing the line at any point. Check out the UA-cam clip with Peter Pakula - he talks about the line damage when spooling up. Cheers
I shall check it out!
I agree, the hat looks silly, but keeps you warm, dry and stays on.
They’re the best in the rain.
Awesome vid Steve thanks for having me and thanks for the rods very appreciative 👍
Hey mate .. what are the specs on those TD Zero rods? Cheers Steve
No problem 👍
